    We are delighted you, or your student(s), are interested in learning more about all Savannah State has to offer for your future. Admission events are a great way to engage with our college campus. We encourage you to find the admissions event that is right for you, we have many to choose from.

    In-Person Events

    Open Camus Day (Highly Recommended)

    Who should attend: current high school, transfer and graduate students

    Wondering what SSU life is really like? Don’t take our word for it—come see for yourself! With SSU’s Open Campus Day, you and your family can get to know us better. Talk to our professors, hang out with our current students, meet our staff, and get a glimpse of all we have to offer. We offer campus tours, an admissions and financial aid session and an academic marketplace don't want to miss out!

    Open Campus Day is held each fall and spring semester. Students in high school and those looking to transfer to SSU are highly encouraged to attend. 

    Junior Preview Day 

    Who should attend: current high school juniors only

    This event is exclusive to high school juniors preparing for their senior year and college search. This event will include an opening session, a presentation about SSU admissions, a student panel and tours. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon to reserve your spot.

    Admitted Student Day 

    Who should attend: admitted students only

    This special day provides an additional and in-depth opportunity exclusively for accepted students to show why you belong at Savannah State University. Admitted students will get an email invitation with registration information.

    Campus Tours

    Who should attend: current high school, transfer and graduate students

    Guided campus tours is a two-hour experience conducted by student ambassadors showcasing historic campus landmarks, classrooms, campus life and so much more. Participants begin with a brief presentation from an Admissions staff member, followed by a 60 to 90-minute walking campus tour. Space is limited. Registration is required.  Visitors without a reservation will be directed to a self-guided tour option.
